Hail! Quem nunca ouviu falar de Mothy Python? Pra quem nunca ouviu >.<, era um programa humoristico britanico (assim como Casseta e Planeta ¬¬ mas MUITO melhor, quem tiver chance assista), então um dos donos da gravadora do Motörhead (na época eles estavam gravando o albúm Rocn'n'Roll) era Michael Pallin um dos integrantes da trupe do Monthy Python.
Um dia, enquanto Motörhead estava gravando o albúm, Michael estava gravando um programa vestido como um jogador de Cricket (esporte que se joga com martelos, bolas de madeira e barras de ferro em forma de ferradura fincadas no chão, quem olhava Tom e Jerry quando era criança sabe), um dos produtores chamou para falar com a banda, então ele entrou na sala e falou: Well you know in the Meaning of Life (filme do Monty Python), there was this speech that began -Oh Lord, hmm (então pediu por acústica de catedral) e recitou:
"Oh Lord, who art on high, who hast made the blades of grass, and the little tiny things that creep therein, that hath made the cricket bats, who has made hankies, who has made... all things, bless thou these people from Motorhead, that they may so verily endow the people of this planet with pleasure and enjoyment that yea, they may verily increase fourfold their already large sums of loot and enable them here in this life to purchase maybe one other pair of trousers each. Oh Lord, thou who hast seen the trouserless and had compassion, look down upon them. Thank you."
